Increases numbers and activity of bacteria – Feed intake is increased
Improves use of energy and protein – Enhancing milk production
Maintains stable rumen pH – Reducing the risk of acidosis
Enhances enzyme activity – Stimulating fibre digestion
Efficiency of rumen function increased – Improving feed utilisation
Converts lactic acid in high starch diets – Increasing supply of energy and protein
Reduces methane production – Reducing waste and increasing efficiency

Finishing early lambs on cereals demands high intakes of starch, and including Biocell farm mix each day maintains a stable rumen pH, increasing intake of creep and daily liveweight gain while reducing the risk of acidosis.

Ewes – six weeks pre-lambing

• Improves fibre digestion
• Increases energy supply

Finishing lambs – intensive

• Increases feed intake
• Extra liveweight gain
• Improves feed conversion
• Faster finishing

Biocell farm mix is available as a granular in-feed or as a mixer pellet and is easily mixed in-feed or incorporated in TMR.

Granular in-feed available in 12.5kg bags, to be fed at 10g per head per day.

What the farmers say...

We started using Biocell farm mix in the coarse mix for our Suffolk rams for the first time in April this year. I am very pleased with the tightness of the skins and quality of fleece, while overall condition is excellent. Before including Biocell in the feed the rams were loose, and when we later left it out for ten days they quickly became very loose again. When we re-introduced the yeast, they soon dried up and have remained clean.
